Proceedings
2 September: a project starts with a place
Goal: give every new project clear working rules, a description and a record of checks from its first minute.
What we did
We created a standard project setup. It prepares the basics: what the project is, how work is done and where decisions are recorded.
We added a check to flag missing elements and certain sensitive data. Starting from scratch need not mean starting without clarity.
What the second look found
The source describes the tool and documented method. It does not record a separate assessment for this day.
What a person approved
The setup procedure was recorded as a working rule on 2 September. The accompanying extension to the broader code charter was still a proposal. This report does not turn it into an established contract.
The rule that stayed
Set up a clear project first, then build. A check should still have something useful to say at delivery.
Still open
A passing check proves only what that check can test. Professional judgement and a second look remain necessary.
